Recently, hermetic power supplies SWP-F12-250W and SWP-F12-300W began to fail. After analyzing the situation, it turned out that many customers connected the load to one pair of wires. As a result, inside the unit, the thermal load from the flow of large currents was not evenly distributed, which led to the failure of the power supplies. In the future, we recommend connecting two positive and two negative cables to each other and only then connect them to the LEDs. Visual aid below

Scheme 1

According to this scheme, two positive and two negative wires are connected to each other. The connection must be reliable, the terminals are selected according to the load current. Avoid moisture ingress. Consider the cable cross section based on the load current.

Scheme 2

A load is connected to each pair of positive and negative wires according to scheme 2. In this case, the load should be distributed as evenly as possible. The connection must be reliable, the terminals are selected according to the load current.
